The Ambra di Talamello is a celebration of a typical product of this area.
Starting in the morning, one can witness the 'sfossatura' (removal of the holes) of the cheese that has rested in special pits for over three months.
Ambra di Talamello is the name given to it by Tonino Guerra, the vate of the Marecchia Valley, for the unmistakable shades of its colour, its heady aroma and irresistible flavour.
In the streets of the village, gastronomic stands offer various quality typical products from all over Italy twinned with Talamello amber. Directly from producers to consumers.
